So, I was standing in the kitchen prepping what has now become my favorite breakfast ever, and realized it was just too good (and easy as hell) not to share with y’all.
I’m sure many of you are looking at the title of this post and thinking, “Good God, does this chick have to put collagen powder in everything?”
And to that, my answer is, “No, I don’t have to, but WHY would I not want to?”
At this point I’m pretty sure collagen powder is slowly becoming part of my genetic makeup, and I’m perfectly okay with that.
Collagen is a superfood comprised of various proteins that our bodies break down into amino acids. When these acids are absorbed, they help to support further collagen production; meaning healthier skin, hair, nails, and joints. Not to mention collagen supplements can aid in boosting your metabolism. WIN.
But, for all of you who still aren’t too hip to the collagen craze, don’t worry you won’t even taste it (or just leave it out altogether if you’re really that much of a hater).
The same goes for the ground cinnamon, which also has a ton of nutritional benefits (buuut, if you don’t like it, don’t add it to your oats). Cinnamon not only has serious antioxidant abilities, but also contains anti-inflammatory properties, protects heart health, and helps to regulate blood sugar.
So much goodness in one mason jar.
With that being said, I say we dive right in to the recipe for this bad boy, yeah?

+ 1 CUP organic multigrain oats
+ 1 CUP vanilla almond milk or vanilla coconut milk
+ ½ CUP fresh or frozen mixed berries
+ ¼ CUP organic coconut flakes
+ 1 TBSP collagen peptides powder
+ 1 TBSP raw slivered almonds
+ 1 TSP chia seeds
+ 1 TSP ground cinnamon

You guys, this recipe is BEYOND simple and seriously addicting.
So, first, I like to take my organic coconut flakes, raw slivered almonds, chia seeds, collagen powder, and ground cinnamon and mix them all together in a small bowl.
Next, I take half of my organic multigrain oats and half of my mixed berries and pour them in the mason jar.
I then top the oats and berries with half of my coconut flake, almond, chia seed, collagen, and cinnamon mixture.
I repeat this process with the second half of my dry ingredients.
Finally, I pour the vanilla almond or coconut milk over all of the ingredients, seal the mason jar lid, and place it in the refrigerator over night.
That. Is. All.
See, I told you this recipe was a no-brainer.
