Happy Monday, babes!
While you’re all still sucking down lattes with an extra shot in your cubicles, I’m currently sitting here with my PJs on (duh), bra off (double duh), silver “alien” GlamGlow mask applied, writing my little heart out.
Don’t be too jealous, though, because I’ll be right there with you tomorrow.
BUT, I’m not going to mope about the workweek ahead because I’m too excited right now.
Why? Because we’re FINALLY going to talk about my absolute favorite topic, like EVER. That’s why.
Mhmm, I’m sure all those who know me well already guessed it, but for those who aren’t as “in the loop” in terms of my lifestyle, I’ll break it down for you real quick:
Basically, I’m the true definition of a hoarder.
But, no, not like those creepy ones who own so much random crap that their last six “missing” pets are probably buried underneath the innumerable disordered mounds in their living rooms. (RIP Lucky, Buddy, Spot, Fluffy, Champ, and Max).
Nope, I’m a much more simplistic hoarder. I like to concentrate my compulsive buying on just one thing: BIKINIS.
Bikinis as far as the eye can see, y’all. That’s my fairytale dream world.
I can’t even begin to explain why I am so insanely obsessed with swimwear, because it’s not like I’m working with a set of killer abs or a booty you could literally rest a drink on.
Na, I’ve got some work to do in the summer bod department for sure, but I work with what I’ve got and rock those teeny tiny numbers as well as I can anyways because I just love them so darn much.
Honestly, though, when have you actually had a bad time in a bikini?
I’m going to assume the answer is NEVER.
Maybe that’s why I just can’t get enough, because bikinis just pretty much signify good times, great weather, and easy livin’. What’s not to love about that combo?
Yeah, I am SO glad Spring has friggin’ sprung because that means it’s prime bikini-buying time, and, let me tell you, this season’s swimwear trends are absolute fire.
From Frankies to Blue Life, swimwear designers everywhere weren’t playin’ with these styles, so, I suppose it would only be decent of me to share with you some of my personal favorite pieces from a few Spring/Summer collections, right?
Right. (Glad we’re on the same page)…
+ + +
Okay, so it was way too hard for me to pick out just s few styles from this collection to feature because every single piece is perfection.
The top is meant to resemble a tied up ribbed tank, which makes it super versatile. One minute you can casually rock it as a crop, and the next you can just jump into the nearest pool without even changing your outfit.
Convenience is key amirite?
Personally, I think this style runs a little on the bigger side, so if you’re looking for more cleavage, you could probably get away with sizing down, although the straps and front knot are already adjustable.
The bottoms, on the other hand, are a little less cheeky than I usually go for, but they fit like a charm around the waist and I absolutely love them. Zero complaints on the fit and just enough booty action to keep me satisfied.
I also purchased the “Willa” top (in black to pair with my black “Greer” bottoms), which I haven’t tried on just yet, but I love the peek-a-boo cutouts on this style.
The “Willa” top is actually super flattering on girls with a larger bust area, so if you’re going for cleavage, this is the top for you. Not to mention it features super cute braded details and an adjustable tie back for a more custom fit.
The Rib Collection is available in 3 color options (white, black, and cloud aka a light blue shade) and features 4 bikini set styles (“Shea,” “Willa,” “Greer,” and “Sky”) along with a one piece option (“Lily”).
Personally, I think you NEED a piece or two from The Rib Collection, so you best get your hands on one of these beauts before they sell out. You won’t regret it.
+ Pastels (Midori Bikinis) +
Pastels are super in this season. I’ve seen blush tones and dusty blues/greens as far as the eye can see, and I’m not complaining.
I love a good, solid pastel suit because these colors can really emphasize bronzed skin, and, luckily for me, one of my favorite brands is killing the pastel game this Spring.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Midori Bikinis because their pieces are SO comfortable, seamless, and hug your curves in all the right places.
Also loving these styles in “Coco” (a sandy nude), “Poipu” (a pastel olive green), “Capri” (a dusty pastel purple), and “Rosé” (a sexy blush tone).
+ Mesh (Acacia) +
So, the signature Acacia mesh styles aren’t exactly exclusive to this season, but they’re classics, and I think every girl should have some of that good good in their bikini arsenals.
I’ve never come across an Acacia suit I didn’t love. These pieces are just so well made and eye-catching.
The “Haku” mesh top is just freaking sexy. You’re going to have some awkward tan lines for sure, but it’s sexy AF, so who cares?
The “Ocean”/”Beach Babe” mesh combo is actually drool worthy, and I’m probably going to add it to my cart in about 2.5 seconds…ok done.
I’m also a sucker for the “Ho’okipa” bottoms, which kill it in the mesh style. They’re itty bitty and perfect for sunning those buns.
I’m really feeling the mesh “Colombia” one piece too (the cutouts are just…hot), along with the “Spain” top.
Bottom line: go with an Acacia mesh piece and don’t look back.

Seriously, when it comes to bikini breakdowns, I could go on and on and on and on and…well, you get the point. I just can’t express how deep-rooted my addiction is.
But, for now, blabbing about these few styles will have to suffice.
I hope you ladies are able to add at least a few of these styles to your collections this season, and, if so, let’s talk about how much you love them!
Feel free to shoot any ‘kini questions in the comments below. Always happy to discuss.
Until next time, loves.
