Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!
For all of the procrastinators out there (like me) who waited until the very last minute to wrap their gifts (which you also purchased last-minute, right?), I have a little piece of advice…GO TO TARGET RIGHT NOW and snag whatever Sugar Paper holiday products you can get your hands on!
If you’ve never heard of this brand, let me just say, it’s perfection.
Founded in 2003 by graphic designers//besties, Chelsea Shukov and Jamie Grobecker, Sugar Paper offers everything from stationary to phone cases featuring, as they refer to it, “the simplicity and nostalgia of letterpress printing”.
Personally, I’ve been a fan of their products since they first hit the shelves at Target, and I am absolutely obsessed with their gift wrap and present tags this year.
Sugar Paper products are honestly just such great quality, and, of course, super minimalist chic, which I love.
To be honest, my gift wrap selection was actually inspired by their “Joy Tag”, for a rather sentimental reason.
Last year, my grandma passed away right before Christmas, and her name was Joy. Since then, I’ve had a bit of a soft spot for just about anything adorning the word. So, as a way to honor her memory this holiday season, I thought these tags would be a perfect embellishment for my family’s gifts.
In order to make the metallic gold lettering pop, I wanted to keep the wrapping paper simple, which is why I chose the “Black Mix & Match Wrap”.
This wrap comes with two 22 x 34 inch sheets of black polkadot on white paper and two sheets of black and white striped paper.
To complete this look, I tied up my packages with black grosgrain ribbon and voila!
You’re sure to make a statement with this wrapping paper, so much so that no one will even suspect that you waited until an hour before your holiday party to actually wrap your presents (guilty).
I suggest you guys get out there and grab some of this sweet sugar while you still can!
